2022 Power of the Purse

Power of the Purse is United Way of the Brown County Area's annual event that supports youth programming in Brown County.

Join us at Sleepy Eye Brewery for an evening of fun! Start the evening enjoying the appetizer buffet, cash bar, and the company of friends. Then, participate in fun games, including Purse Bingo for your chance to win designer purse. Round out the evening by listening to our mystery guest speaker.

By joining us, you are supporting these important Brown County programs:

• Imagination Library: Delivers free books to Brown County kids ages 0-5 every month.
• Project Lunchbox: Provides weekend food packages to children from preschool - 8th grade in the New Ulm School District.
• Youth Activity Scholarship Program: Gives scholarships of up to $200 per child every year so they can participate in activities.
• Stuff the Backpacks: Ensures every child in Brown County heads back to school with a backpack filled with school supplies.
