CHILD & YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
HELPING CHILDREN & YOUTH ACHIEVE THEIR POTENTIAL BY:
- Supporting school readiness & early childhood programs
- Funding mentoring & afterschool programs for at risk youth
- Providing parent materials through the Brown County Universal Contact Program
- Partnering to provide backpacks for low income kids in all county schools
- Providing 1200 kids in Brown County with a free book every month through the Imagination Library Program
- Providing over 450 kids with backpacks and supplies every year through our Stuff the Backpacks Project
ECONOMIC WELL BEING
HELPING FAMILIES BE FINANCIALLY STABLE & INDEPENDENT BY:
- Creating a financial stability task force
- Supporting financial education through Lutheran Social Services
- Funding a Youth Activities Scholarship Program for low income youth
HEALTH & INDEPENDENCE
IMPROVING PEOPLE'S LIVES BY:
- Coordinating the Underage Substance Abuse Coalition (USAC)
- Supporting senior nutrition programs throughout Brown County
- Funding for healthy youth programs
- Sponsoring the annual Day of Caring to help seniors live independently
