FREE tax preparation for low to moderate income taxpayers of all ages
The United Way of Brown County is proud to offer an in-person tax preparation option to those in the Brown County Area.
Our IRS certified volunteer preparers meet with taxpayers in the lower level of the New Ulm Public Library. Appointments are available from February to mid-April by IRS Certified Preparers. This service is by appointment only during the tax season.
Our During the 2019 tax season our preparers completed 560 returns for residents across Brown County and southern Minnesota. Those taxpayers received an average return of $612.
