United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community.
The goal of the Youth Activities Scholarship Program is to make sure that all students, who attend school in Brown County, can participate in an activity whether it be school or community sponsored. Last year, almost $37,000 was awarded for students to participate in after-school activities.
Day of Caring provides "helping hands" for our older citizens who want to stay in their homes but need a little extra help. Last year, over 300 volunteers completed71 projects for area seniors.
All children from birth until their 5th birthday who will attend a school in Brown County are eligible to receive a FREE book every month delivered to their mailbox! Currently over 1200 children in Brown County receive a free book EVERY month!
